Coinciding with the announcement that Starz has renewed Ash Vs. Evil Dead for a second season, Humble Bundle and Dynamite Entertainment have announced the Army of Darkness comics bundle for the digital platform.

The bundle features issues from the Amy of Darkness comic series as well as Ash’s many crossover encounters with Re-Animator, Dracula, and Hack/Slash.  A portion of the proceeds can be donated to benefit the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund (CBLDF).

Customers who purchase this bundle can name their own price, and can choose how the money is allocated. Customers can pay any amount to receive five Army of Darkness comic titles.

Customers who pay more than the average price (currently $9.87) will also receive seven additional Army of Darkness titles, including Ash Saves Obama, Ash Gets Hitched, and Army of Darkness Vs. Hack/Slash.

Customers who pay $15 or more will receive all of the above plus five more Army of Darkness collections.  Dynamite is also offering a free daily Army of Darkness comic downloadable on the Humble Bundle website.  Customers may choose what portion of their payment goes to Humble Bundle, Dynamite Entrainment, and the selected Charities (Doctors Without Borders, Make-A-Wish International, and the CBLDF).

Humble Comics Bundle: Army of Darkness (linked here in hopes that readers will be generous to the CBLDF) will be available until Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at 11 AM PT.

Ahead of its Halloween debut, the Starz network announced the Ash Vs. Evil Dead 10-episode series has been picked up for a second season, Deadline is reporting.  The second season will air in late 2016.
