Disney has released the first full-length trailer for Alice Through The Looking Glass, the sequel to Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland, which will again star Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter (see “Johnny Depp to Star in 'Alice in Wonderland' Sequel”).

This time around, Alice must travel back in time to save the Mad Hatter. The film will star Anne Hathaway, Mia Wasikowska , Sacha Baron Cohen and Helena Bonham Carter, as well as characters voiced by Alan Rickman, Stephen Fry, Michael Sheen and Timothy Spall.

With Lewis Carroll’s original tales of Alice in the public domain, numerous books, comics, manga, board games, and video games exist utilizing the potent fairy tale property; and as with the last Disney movie, expect a heavy stream of licensed merchandise for this iteration to release before the film.

The film opens in theater on May 27 (see “ Best in Shows--Q2 2016”).
