Iello has shared information on several upcoming 2016 releases, including Candy Chaser, Loot N Run, Brick Party, Sea of Clouds, and Bunny Kingdom.
Candy Chaser is a bluffing game where players are illegal candy smugglers. Players must choose one of five types of candy to specialize in, and attempt to raise the price of their sweet specialization more than the others by the end of the game. But players must be careful to keep which candy type they are smuggling a secret. If the other players figure it out before the game ends, that player is eliminated from the game.
The box contains 5 identity cards, 20 accusation cards, 5 candy cubes, a die, a gameboard and a rulebook. The game is for 2 - 4 players, ages 8 and up, and plays in 10 minutes. MSRP is $14.99. Release is planned for February.
Loot N Run is a new press your luck game where players attempt to loot the pyramids, while avoiding the mummies, werewolves and Frankenstein’s monsters the other players have awoken and are roaming about.The game is for 2 -6 players, ages 8 and up, and plays in 20 minutes. MSRP is $14.99. Release date was not announced.
Brick Party is a semi-cooperative game designed by Luca Bellini (Fun Farm) where players use LEGO-like bricks to build a specific shape shown on an opponent’s card while following the round’s special condition card (eyes closed, one handed, ect).The game is for 2 -9 players, ages 5 and up, and plays in 15 - 30 minutes. The box contains 36 plastic bricks, 165 cards, and a sandtimer. Release date and MSRP were not available at this time.
Two other games were teased for Q2 release. The pirate card game Sea of Clouds is planned for April release, and Richard Garfield’s Bunny Kingdom (formerly announced as Bunny Clan) is planned for May release (see “Richard Garfield's 'Bunny Clan'”).
Iello updated the release date for the card game set in feudal Japan, Kenjin (see “ Five New Games From Iello”), to March.The company also announce three other games for February release last month (see “'Happy Pigs,' 'Tem-purr-a,' 'The Pied Piper'”).
