Cryptozoic Entertainment has announced it is releasing DC Comics Justice League trading cards in Q2 of 2016.

This set features all new art by a variety of comic and other artists with card backs and inserts written by DC Comics writer Adam Beechen (Justice League Unlimited, Countdown to Adventure).

The base set includes 63 cards with "hand-drawn sketch cards" inserted 1:24 packs. Chase sets include Retro (1:6 packs), Madame Xanadu Tarot Cards (1:4 packs), Model Sheets (1:4 packs), Classic Comics (1:4 packs), Batman Classic TV series Cryptomium Reissue cards (1:24 packs).

In addition to the standard inserts, premium inserts include Hall of Justice die-cut sketch cards (TBD frequency), Totally Fabricated costume cards (1:192 packs), Replica Patch cards (1:96 packs), and Printing Plates (TBD frequency). A full-color binder is sold separately which contains an exclusive Totally Fabricated costume card.

With March’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice serving as a cinematic set-up for an eventual Justice League movie (see “'Batman v Superman' Trailer”), name recognition for the JLA will be running high in Q2.
