David Nuss has joined Alternative Comics as Associate Publisher and Steven Scott has joined IDW Comics as PR Manger.

Alternative Comics has named Nuss as new Associate Publisher. Effective immediately, Nuss will serve as co-head of the production team. He will be responsible for business development, sales forecasting, management of distributor and retailer relations, and other key functions for the business’ presence on the East Coast. Nuss was previously publisher of his own small press, Revival House, which he started in 2009.

IDW Publishing has named Scott as its new Public Relations Manager. Scott will be responsible for overseeing public outreach and social media strategies.  Scott was most recently a PR Manger for the San Francisco-based digital company Humble Bundle (see “Interview: Humble Bundle and Comics”). Prior to his work at Humble Bundle, Scott was Director of Publicity and Marketing for Archie Comics.
