Players take the role of the War Minister of their small nation, attempting to confront other nations’ aggression by developing atomic bombs. Players must acquire materials and personnel to build 10 kilotons worth of atomic bombs before their rival nations do. Players can build universities to train scientist and engineers, and then use them along with teams of laborers to complete building weapons of various strengths. When a player has reached 10 kilotons, points are totaled and the nation with the most bomb points wins.
The box contains 108 cards including: 8 Factory cards, 20 Mining cards, 7 University cards, 14 Enrichment Plants cards, 6 Special Agent cards, 4 Landmarks cards, 13 Bomb Plan cards, 4 Bomb Loaded cards, 31 Resource cards, and 1 Start Player card.The game is for 1 -5 players, ages 8 and up, and plays in 20 – 30 minutes. MSRP is $14.99. Minion Games told ICv2 that trade release is planned for at/before Gen Con.
The Kickstarter has raised more than $60,000 as of this writing, from over 2,300 backers ($25.98 / backer average), well over the modest $4,000 goal. The campaign will run through Thursday February 4.
