German publisher Queen Games has announced an end to its distribution arrangement with Asmodee NA, announcing plans to distribute direct in North America.  The new distribution arrangement begins immediately.

"After 20 years, for the first time in the company’s history, we are pleased to announce that our games will be available to all distributors in North America directly from us," said Rajive Gupta, Queen Games CEO & President.

Queen, makers of Shogun, Fresco, Kingdom Builder and more, signed a distribution deal with Asmodee last year (see "Asmodee, Queen Games Distribution Deal").  Asmodee NA announced in December that it would be restricting its distribution to five distributors (see "Asmodee, Fantasy Flight, Days of Wonder Consolidate").
