Wayne England, fantasy artist for Games Workshop and Wizards of the Coast’s Magic: The Gathering, passed away on February 9 in Barnsley, England. Details regarding his death were not released.
England was known for his work with Games Workshop, including illustrations for Warhammer magazine, White Dwarf, and many different army codexes; as well as work for multiple Wizards of the Coast games, including some very influential and powerful Magic card (Cryptic Command, Oblivion Ring, Wings of Hope) and multiple Dungeons and Dragons books.
England is survived by his wife, Victoria, and two children, Harry and Millie.
