Production on Warner Bros.’ Justice League feature, directed by Zack Snyder, will begin on April 11, according to Entertainment Weekly.   Shooting will take place at Warners’ Leavesden studios in southeast England, at locations around London, and in Iceland.  Release is planned for November 17, 2017 (see “Best in Shows – Q4 2017”).

Director Snyder Tweeted a photo of himself with Jason Momoa, who’s playing Aquaman initially in Batman v. Superman as a warm-up for Justice League, at Leavesden with the comment “Deep in it with Jason on JL,” presumably talking about pre-production.

Many of the individual characters, of course, will have been well introduced in Batman v. Superman, premiering March 25, and Wonder Woman, due out June 23, 2017.  Wonder Woman is already in production (see “’Wonder Woman’ Production Underway”).

And those are only three of the nine DC movies currently slated through 2020 (see “Warners Announces Nine More DC Movies”).
