This set includes more cards from the popular Sword Art Online anime series, featuring characters and scenarios from the “Calibur” and “Mother’s Rosario” chapters of the series.
There will be 36 cards in this set, all parallel cards, plus 3 special SP gold foil/hot stamp cards signed by Japanese voice actors Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Kirito), Haruka Tomatsu (Asuna), and Aoi Yuki (Yuuki), which will be randomly inserted in some packs.
The cards will be available as Extra Boosters, with 6 random cards in each booster pack. Packs are packaged 6 to a display.
The English language version of the new expansion does not include the gold or silver campaign coupons from the Japanese Edition. They may only be used in tournaments held outside of Japan.
The Sword Art Online II Vol. 2 follows another Sword Art Online booster set, releasing in April (see “‘Sword Art Online Vol. 2’ Booster”).
