At GTS, ICv2 spoke with Jasco’s Nathan Prueitt to hear about the new Meg Man: Board Game expansion, UFS line reprints, and more.

The Time Man and Oil Man Expansion for the Mega Man: Board Game (see “'Mega Man: The Board Game'”) was due earlier this month. “It was starting to ship, and the issue was that our printer forgot to print two protagonist cards,” Prueitt said. “So we had to get our printer to fix the error. We have to open it, put it in there, repackage it before we could ship it.  So that took some time.”

The expansion adds Time Man and Oil Man to the game, expanding it to 8 possible players. MSRP is $29.99.

“The board game is moving extremely well,” Prueitt said.  “We’ve probably moved about 75% of the original stock of the first print run and I expect it to be pretty much gone by the end of April, if not sooner.”

Prueitt also shared news for the company’s Universal Fighting System card game. “We are reprinting some of the UFS lines,” he said, naming off Warriors of the Night Darkstalkers, Mega Man: Rise of the Masters and World of Indines booster sets. “[World of Indines] is an original IP of Level 99 Games with Brad Talton. We have been doing some collaboration with Level 99 for at least 2 years. We put Red Horizon into Battle Con and some other games of his, and now we’re starting to put some of his licenses into UFS and some other game lines that are not quite here yet. “

Jasco was also showing off the new board game Albion’s Legacy at the show (see “New Edition of Arthurian Board Game 'Albion's Legacy'”).
