DC Comics and BOOM! Studios have partnered for a digital-first crossover for Batman ’66 and John Steed and Mrs. Peel from the British TV series The Avengers.

The series will be written by British writer Ian Edgington (X-Force, Justice League) and drawn by Matthew Dow Smith (Justice League: Gods Among Us.) The first issue will feature a main cover by Michael Allred and a variant by Cat Staggs. The digital series will premiere on June 8, with print following on July 6.

Bruce Wayne is showing the head of a UK electronics company the sites of Gotham when Catwoman strikes. Since Bruce can’t leave the executive unprotected, Batman can’t step in to stop the heist. But then John Steed and Mrs. Peel show up to save the day, because they’re in Gotham too, tracking other nefarious plots.
