Gen Con LLC and Paizo Inc. announced the extension of their co-sponsorship agreement for the yearly convention though 2018 and Gen Con 50. Paizo has co-sponsored Gen Con since 2013.

At the 2016 convention, Paizo will have a large presence in the Exhibit Hall, as well as increased on-site branding. In its dedicate space in the Indiana Convention Center’s Sagamore Ballroom, Paizo will continue to host hundreds of Pathfinder RPG events throughout the convention.

"Our team is pleased to see Paizo return as a co-sponsor," said Adrian Swartout, CEO/Owner of Gen Con. "It has been amazing to watch their explosive growth over the past several years, and their Pathfinder gaming events are among the most popular and most attended yearly. With more than 14,000 events to choose from at Gen Con, that is quite the accomplishment!”

Paizo launched Pathfinder in 2009 (see “'Pathfinder RPG' Core Rulebook in August”) and has since won more than 50 awards, and grown to be one of the most popular roleplaying games in the industry (see “Top 5 Roleplaying Games--Fall 2015”).

Gen Con 2016 will run Thursday, August 4 through Sunday, August 7 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis.
