Fox appears to be moving fairly quickly to get an adaptation of Kyle Stark’s Sexcastle graphic novel about a top tier assassin who retires to a small town only to be pulled back into the game to the big screen.  After acquiring the Image Comics property in January and assigning Kyle Newacheck to direct Blake Anderson in the title role under the watchful eyes of producers Joe and Anthony Russo (Captain America: Civil War—see the “Geek Movie News Round-Up” for January 18), Fox has now hired David and Matthew Libman to write the screen play for the Sexcastle movie.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Libman brothers worked with Russo siblings on the Happy Endings TV series that lasted 3 years on ABC.  The Libmans also worked on other TV series including Bad Teacher, Marry Me, and Dr. Ken.
