Image Comics will launch Glitterbomb, a dark story of intense drama and blood-soaked vengeance, on September 7.

The comic is written by Jim Zub (Wayward, Thunderbolts), with art by Djibril Morisette-Phan. The story follows Farrah Durante, a middle-aged actress on the hit for her next gig. But she’s working in an industry that values youth over experience, and her frustrations have attracted something horrifying out in the water.

Issue #1 will feature two covers: a cover by Morisette-Phan, and a cover by Steve Cummings and Morisette-Phan.
