WizKids will release three new dice games this fall: Blank White Dice, Dice Stars, and Burke’s Gambit.

Blank White Dice is designed by Jonathan Leistiko. Players roll the dice to activate the icons on the die, hoping to gain enough points to win. However, if a player rolls a blank face die, they’ll have to come up with new icons to draw on the face.  Some icons give players points, or for their opponents to lose points, or even force a re-roll. The goal is to be the first player to 13 points.

The game comes with 9 dice, 4 wet-erase markers, 54 cards, 9 discs, a score board and rules. The game is for 2 or more players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 30 minutes. MSRP is $19.99. Release is planned for October.

Designed by Bruno Cathala and Ludovic Maublanc (Mr. Jack, Dice Town, Cyclades), Dice Stars is a strategy dice game where players roll their dice and select colors, numbers or stars to score the highest number of points.

The game includes 14 dice, a dice bag, a score pad and rules. The game is for 1 – 4 players, ages 10 and up, and plays in around 20 minutes. MSRP is $19.99. Release is planned for November.

Burke’s Gambit is designed by Rob Yates. Players take the role of crew members on the star freighter Burke’s Gambit. The crew has been tasked with finding alien technology, but instead one of the crew has been infected with a dangerous parasitic organism.  Before the crew can determine who is infected, the individual sabotaged the engines, sending the ship on a collision course with Earth.  Now players must role dice to possibly heal themselves, look at a crew affiliation card, damage other players, or scan a player’s diagnostic card. Or they may roll an engine power up, hastening arrival on Earth.  When the ship reaches Earth, players must vote to eject someone out the airlock that they suspect is infected.

The game comes with 21 custom dice, a dice bag, 29 cards, 17 life counters and a rulebook. The game is for 3 - 8 players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 30 minutes. MSRP is $19.99.  Release is planned for December.
