In December, DC Entertainment will launch a new Supergirl miniseries that focuses on the trials and tribulations of being a teen.

Supergirl: Being Super is written by Caldecott Honor and Eisner Award winner Mariko Tamaki (This One Summer), with art by Joelle Jones (Lady Killer). The story follows Kara Danvers, who was Kara Zor El on her home planet, as she navigates relationships, friendships, and classes, all while balancing the secret that she’s really an alien with developing superpowers. Her powers begin to manifest in bizarre ways: hot flashes, glowing zits, and other symptoms that are hard to control.

The series launches on December 28. Each issue of the monthly miniseries will be 48 pages.
