Christina Hodson, who recently completed a script for Transformers spinoff Bumblebee (see “Buzz for ‘Bumblebee’”), is also writing the Harley Quinn spinoff film being developed by Margot Robbie, according to The Wrap.  Robbie is producing the film and will star in it as her Suicide Squad character Harley Quinn (see “Harley Quinn Headlining DC Spinoff Film”).  The story will feature other female DC characters such as Birds of Prey or Batgirl.

Warner Bros. has not commented officially on the news, according to the report.
