Dark Horse Comics will release Lead Poisoning:  The Pencil Art of Geof Darrow, a new oversize Geof Darrow art book, as one element in a Darrow publishing program that unfolds this year.  The 128-page 9” x 12” volume will feature drawings showcasing Darrow’s pencil work, before inks were applied.  The pieces will include everything from well-known covers to never-before-seen drawings, accompanied by commentary from Darrow and his peers.  The $34.99 volume will street in July ahead of Darrow’s appearance at San Diego Comic-Con.

Dark Horse previously announced that a new Shaolin Cowboy miniseries will launch in April (see “Geof Darrow’s ‘Shaolin Cowboy’ Returns”).  Now Dark Horse has also revealed that it will release a new edition of Hard Boiled, Darrow’s collaboration with Frank Miller, in September.  The new edition will include a new introduction by Miller and new colors by Dave Stewart.
