The game casts players in the role of shipwrecked sailors who were saved by the Nukha, a mythic sea creature. Players each take an individual role with unique abilities. Then the group elects a Captain, while everyone else takes turns as explorers of the Nukha’s cave. There are valuables to be found, which must be presented to the Captain and offered for purchase. However, the explorer doesn’t have to tell the truth about what they found. If the Captain passes on buying the item, the explorer gets to use the item’s effect on another player (still without revealing the card). The targeted player can accept the attack, or challenge the claim. If the victim calls a bluff and its true, they lose a coin to the attacker. If the attacker lied, the effect is negated and the victim wins a coin. The game continues until an explorer draws the Nomad’s Arrival card. Players then tally up their gold and loot, and sell the loot to the Nomad. The player with the highest total earnings wins the game.
The box contains, 36 playing cards, 6 character boards, 1 card dispenser, 1 bottle with a message, 3 majority tokens. The game is for 3 – 6 players, ages 8 and up, and plays in 20 minutes. MSRP is $29.99.
