HBO revealed the premiere date and released a teaser video for Game of Thrones Season 7 on Thursday.  The premiere date for the penultimate season will be July 16, 2017, a later start than usual.

The teaser video shows none of the characters, but uses their voices and statues of the sigils of the houses to set up a war storyline.
