The two-foot by three-foot paper map is designed for use with any HeroClix game. The maps are double-sided, each showing a different battle zone typical to comic book combats. One side shows the interior of a train station, while the other depicts part of an operating train yard with a number of train cars. Both sides of the map are designed so they can be placed end-to-end to create large battlegrounds.
The maps will be packed in a tube, and come rolled up so there are no folds or creases that might hamper play. Maps are packaged 10 pieces to a tube. They are not intended for retail sale, so there is no MSRP on this item, but WizKids is not prohibiting stores from selling them to consumers at their own discretion.
Last year, WizKids offered a more deluxe battle map, mounted on neoprene (see “WizKids Reveals Premium Maps”).
