An official ICv2 release. Since ICv2 publishes every business day and only about twenty-five articles can be featured or listed on the ICv2 homepage, the search function is very important for retailers who use the site, particularly those who have primary interest in just some of the five pop culture arenas that we cover (anime, comics, games, movie/TV, and toys). Using the search function retailers can quickly access all the articles written by the ICv2 staff on any topic -- and now you can sort those articles by date, so that you can get the freshest news, or by relevance, so you can find the article that is the most closely focused on the subject you want regardless of when it was published. 'Adding the ability to sort search results by date, and making that the way our search results display first were the most requested improvements to the site since launch, so we listened,' said ICv2 President Milton Griepp. In addition, each article will now display the date the article was written or last updated. This was also a frequently requested improvement to the site.
Now that ICv2 is in its fourth month of online operation, the site includes close to 400 articles, and the search function is your key to getting the most out this rapidly growing database of information. If you're looking for information on a particular topic, or simply want to make sure you haven't missed a recent article on a topic of interest, enter that topic in the search slot on the left 'nav' bar, or click on one of the suggested topics just below the slot. Once the search results page comes up, you can then decide whether to rank by date or by relevance, and you can also decide whether to view the product entries or the articles. Thanks to the search function, exploring the site is easy and we certainly hope you will find what you are looking for -- if you don't, please use the 'Send us a Tip' button to tell us what additional topics we should be covering. One helpful hint -- when navigating around the site, you can always get back to the home page by clicking on the ICv2 logo.
