San Diego Comic-Con News:  Cartoonist Lisa Hanawalt (Hot Dog Taste Test), who designs the popular Netflix adult animated sitcom BoJack Horseman, is readying her first full-length original graphic novel, Coyote Doggirl, which Drawn & Quarterly plans to publish in the fall of 2018.

Coyote Doggirl plays all sorts of narrative game with the familiar elements of the classic western, but ultimately this saga of what The Hollywood Reporter called "a half dog, half coyote with a whole lot of attitude is a very personal statement and much more than just a humorous western parody."
