Three interesting games are launching or coming to Kickstarter soon.  Highlander: The Duel, a card game based on the Highlander film, has just launched on Kickstarter.  Players take on the role of Connor Macleod or The Kurgan to see who will take home the prize and who will lose his head by drafting Combat Cards and playing them in special combinations to damage the opponent.  The game will be released by B&B Games Studio.

Dynamite Entertainment and Lynnvander Studios have collaborated on a new board game, ReAnimator, based on H.P. Lovecraft's Herbert West: ReAnimator and the Dynamite comic series based on it.  The Kickstarter will begin September 18, and the product will ship in February 2018.  In the game, up to four players will cooperate as the narrator from Lovecraft's story to perfect the re-animation serum.

Steve Jackson Games has announced that it will release the classic Game Designers Workshop board game Triplanetary in 2018 via a Kickstarter campaign.  It has been a long journey for the title at Steve Jackson, which acquired rights in 1990!  No word on timing or details.
