Variety has reported that Biblionauts, by Adam Mortimer, has been acquired by Walden Media as the story material for a series of major motion pictures.  The concept was being developed for a series of graphic novels when it was acquired, a Liefeldian sign that the comic hysteria in Hollywood may be peaking.  The storyline involves a device that puts kids into works of literature, where they encounter changing outcomes for their fictional and real-world surroundings.
