The theme of Ill-Tempered Tikis is the family squabbles of the so-called Tiki gods of the South Pacific. The balance of power among the Tiki gods is out of whack, and its up to the players to restore the harmony of the natural forces by collecting a “complete family” of five different Tikis. The Tiki are represented in the game as cards, which the players meld in front of them as a tableau. The first player to get five different Tikis of the same color in play in front of them wins the game.
The game comes with 88 Tiki cards, and is intended for 2 to 6 players, ages 8 and up. Playing Ill-Tempered Tikis takes about 15 minutes. The MSRP is $11.95. It was created by Wild East co-founder Brian Bollinger and features illustrations by Greg Scott.
