Retailers can now order wholesale directly from Han Cholo, which told ICv2 it normally imposes a $1,000 minimum for orders, but “…takes pride in working with small businesses…, so that number is highly flexible.” If orders are in stock, processing and fulfillment can be done in a week, the company said, or if products are being imported to fill orders, it may take closer to five or six weeks for fulfillment.
The jewelry and accessories line debuted on Han Cholo’s website earlier this year, and a selection of pieces was released via Think Geek in October. The Mimic Pendant, which features a detailed incarnation of the evil treasure chest, was the best seller for Think Geek, a Han Cholo representative told ICv2.
The Han Cholo D&D SKUs available to independent retailers includes eight steel pieces: rings, pins, pendants and cuffs which feature the Beholder, the claw of Tiamat, and the D&D ampersand logo.
Han Cholo is continuing to experiment with the license, and plans to expand its selection in 2018.
Han Cholo company owner Brandon Schoolhouse is a Dungeons & Dragons fan from way back; he’s played the game since he was 12, the company said. “Me and my friends used to collect Dungeons & Dragons figures and paint them,” Schoolhouse said. “Now I get to have people collect my D&D jewelry.”
