Upper Deck will release Deadpool & Friends as the first “issue” of the First Appearances arc for the VS System 2PCG in February.

The Deadpool & Friends pack contains 55 cards and is built around the New Mutants storyline “The Beginning of the End” which introduces Deadpool for the first time. The also includes a new Deadpool main character. The previous version in the game was affiliated with the X-Men, the new card is eviler and he’s affiliated with the Underworld team. MSRP is $14.99.

Upper Deck announced the plans to changes the format for VS last year (see “New 'VS System' Release Format Finalized”).
