Marvel Entertainment has signed writer Kelly Thompson to an exclusive contract, the company announced.  Thompson is best known for her runs on Hawkeye, which ends in March, and on the miniseries Rogue & Gambit.  Other Marvel credits include Captain Marvel & the Carol Corps and Journey to Star Wars: The Last Jedi – Captain Phasma.

Thompson credits at other publishers include a Ghostbusters miniseries, Jem & the Holograms, and The Misfits for IDW Publishing; Mega Princess for BOOM! Studios; and Heart in a Box for Dark Horse Comics.

It’s been a while.  The last Marvel exclusive deal with a creator reported on ICv2 was about six months ago, when Marvel signed Donny Cates (see "Marvel Signs Donny Cates to Exclusive Deal").
