Diamond Comic Distributors Founder and CEO Steve Geppi will deliver the keynote address for the Diamond Retailer Summit, to be held in the run-up to C2E2, April 4-6, in Chicago (see "Diamond Retailer Summit Details Announced for 2018").  Geppi’s topic will be "The Past, Present, and Future of the Comics Industry."  He’ll deliver the address at the closing breakfast Friday, April 6.

Times have been a little rocky in the comics business recently (see "Year Ends on Down Note"), so Geppi’s four decades of experience will provide some helpful perspective for the attendees.  Geppi opened his first comic book store in Baltimore in 1970, and entered the distribution business in 1982 when he formed Diamond Comic Distributors.
