At the recent Spielwarenmesse Toy Fair in Nuremberg Germany, Brain Games unveiled Ice Cool 2, a follow up to its hit dexterity game. The game will launch at Gen Con, with trade release to follow.

Ice Cool won the 2017 Kinderspiel des Jahres (Best Children’s Game) (see “2017 'Kinderspiel des Jahres' Winner Announced”). Ice Cool 2 is designed by Brian Gomez (Ice Cool), and plays similar to the original, with players strategically flicking their penguin to gather fish in different rooms while avoiding the Hall Monitor. However, it also adds Tasks on 1 point cards, fish moving power for 2 point cards, and introduces new trick-shot challenges that allow players to draw an additional fish card from the deck if task is completed successfully.

The box contains, 5 game boxes, 4 penguin figures, 16 fish figures, 53 cards, and game rules. The game is for 2 – 4 players, ages 6 and up, and plays in about 30 minutes. MSRP is $39.95.

Ice Cool 2 can be combined with the original game to engage race mode, create new layouts, and find other ways to play for up to 8 players.
