In Raids, designed by Matthew Dunstan and Brett J. Gilbert (Elysium, Costa Rica), players take control of a longship crew and venture out to find the most treasure and glory. However, other players may set their sights on the same location. So players must board their rival’s ship and attempt to make them leave. Players must strategize what to load their boat with along the way: warriors, shields, weapons, or goods. The player with the most Glory points at the end of the fourth Voyage (round) wins.
The box contains 4 longship markers, 4 longship boards, 40 Viking pawns, 20 coins, 9 Harbor tiles, 64 Voyage tiles, a World board, and a rulebook. The game is for 2 – 4 players, ages 10 and up, and plays in 40 minutes. Release is planned for June 14 for brick and mortar stores, and June 28 online. In 'Raids'
