Galaxy Angel Volume 1, from Broccoli Books, is scheduled to have a simultaneous March 3rd release with Bandai's Galaxy Angel Limited Edition DVD.  The manga will be 208 black and white pages, suggested for thirteen and over, at a $9.99 cover price.

 

The Galaxy Angel series, written by Ryo (Record of Lodoss War) Mizuno, with art by Kanan, is currently running in Dragon Age magazine.

 

Galaxy Angel is yet another in the Broccoli Books Deluxe line (see 'Aquarian Age-Juvenile Orion Volume 1 Exclusive to Waldenbooks').  Bonus materials featured here, but not included in the original Japanese edition include a four-page color insert, character profiles, bonus manga by Kanan and information about the Galaxy Angel universe.

 

As with other Deluxe releases (see 'Broccoli Books Creates Exclusive Dust Jacket'), Galaxy Angel will include a voucher which can be redeemed for a limited edition dust jacket with an alternate Kanan illustration.

 

The Galaxy Angel Limited Edition DVD will include an exclusive fan booklet produced by Broccoli Books.  The two companies are co-producing a Galaxy Angel Website, scheduled to launch early next year, which will join the existing Galaxy Angel games, novels, anime, manga and merchandise to create a powerful marketing presence for this property.
