Top Cow and Image Comics have announced that Wanted #1 is sold out at the distributor level one week after its debut last Wednesday, December 10th.  Writer Mark Millar described the initial orders as 'JLA numbers' in the announcement, which would put Wanted #1 in the 60,000 plus range. 

 

Wanted is written by Mark Millar, with pencils and inks by JG Jones and colors by Paul Mounts.  Millar says it's, '...the superhero book I planned to follow The Authority with before I went to Marvel and I've been plotting it for three years.'

 

Millar gave a shout out to retailers in the release.  'This is just a big, sloppy thank you to ...the retailers who supported this initiative and hopefully a good indication of how the rest of the first wave will go down.'
