Other than that, the chart looked pretty much the same as last month: The three Dog-Man books in the same order, Raina Telgemeier’s four OGNs in the same order, and so on. There’s a bit of variation as we go down the list, but not much. And Graphix owns the chart, taking 11 slots. Since we’re looking at age, the oldest book is Raina Telgemeier’s Smile (2010).
It’s not surprising that the Dog Man books, Big Nate, and Raina Telgemeier’s books dominate the charts; what’s a bit more interesting is that their relative popularity remains the same from month to month. Either way, it seems like kids are remarkably loyal to their favorites, and also that if they like a book, they will buy all its relatives as well.
