Z-Man Games will release the real-time adventure game Anchors Aweigh in Q3.

Designed by Carlo A. Rossi (Alchemist, Divinity Derby), the fast-paced game has players embarking on a bold voyage on the high seas.  Players must add cargo, and pick gear for the trip (shovels, swords, maps) to search for treasure. While sailing the high seas, players can trade goods, make discovers, and complete contracts to earn treasure.  Pirates may attack the ship, stealing cargo if players don’t fend them off successfully.  The sailor that collects the most treasure wins.

The box contains 84 asset tiles, 3 parrots, 52 adventure cards, 4 ship boards, 4 player screens, 18 treasure chests, 36 coins, 64 wooden cargo tokens, and a rulebook.  The game is for 2 – 4 players, ages 8 and up, and plays in 30 minutes.  MSRP is $39.99.
