BOOM! Studios and Saban Brands are adding another chapter for Tommy Oliver, the original Green Ranger. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Soul of the Dragon is an original graphic novel by writer Kyle Higgins (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Nightwing) and artist Giuseppe Cafaro (Justice League Vs. Suicide Squad), with input from Jason David Frank, who portrayed the Green Ranger in the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers TV series.  Nick Robles (Euthanauts) covers the OGN, which will be in stores in December.

In Soul of the Dragon, Tommy Oliver has been long retired from serving as a Power Ranger, but he must call upon his training, old friends, and even some of his enemies in the search for his missing son.

BOOM! recently released an oversized commemorative hardcover art book marking the 25th anniversary of the Power Rangers (see "It's Morphin Time"), and the Power Rangers also engaged in their first-ever comics crossover event (see "Preview: 'Mighty Morphin Power Rangers' #25").  Hasbro recently acquired the rights to the influential and enduring brand to the tune of more than $500 million (see "Power Rangers Go! Go! to Hasbro in $500 Million Deal").
