Plan B Games’ Next Move Games studio, publishers of the popular abstract strategy game Azul, has announced the new game Azul: Stained Glass of Sintra will premiere at the Spiel fair in Essen, Germany in late October, with trade release to follow.

Designed by Michael Kiesling (Azul, Tikal, Torres), Azul: Stained Glass of Sintra has players decorating the stained glass chapel windows of the Palace of Sintra. The window panels are double sided, providing players with a variable playing board for good replayability.

The game is for players 8 and up, and plays in 30 -45 minutes. MSRP is $39.99.

Azul released last year (see “'Azul' Spotlights the Moorish Art of Decorative Tiles”).
