Mondo Games will release the board game Jurassic Park: The Chaos Gene for the 25th Anniversary of Steven Spielberg’s movie blockbuster. The box will be on display at San Diego Comic-Con and available in stores in the fall.
Jurassic Park: The Chaos Gene combines traditional dungeon crawl mechanics with the dinosaur mayhem of the well-known film. As an asymmetrical board game, players take the roles of various factions who all have unique objectives, perspectives and strategies. The scenarios pit humans and dinosaurs against each other for competing goals. The Raptor faction has different plans for the park than the scientists and visitors, or the head of InGen. The giant Tyrannosaurus Rex has one goal – eat! Other factions are looking for needed items, attacking or avoiding roaming dinosaurs, gaining experience, and outfitting the team. With modular environment tiles, the game is never the same twice.

The game is for 2 -4 players, ages 14 and up. MSRP and release date were not announced at this time.
