Italian publisher dV Giochi will be releasing four new games soon, and will show them off at Gen Con: Catalyst, Deckscape – Heist in Venice, Minute Realms, and Origami.

Catalyst is a drafting and set collection card game where players recruit individuals who can wield a new class of catalytic energy, “Catalysts.” Using these individuals, players create networks, new energy combinations, and link effects together in enhanced chains. Meet the requirements of the goal card and score victory points. The game is for 2 – 4 players, ages 10 and up. Release is planned for August.

Deckscape – Heist in Venice is a new Escape Room-type game, where players act as retired professional thieves, who are summoned for a reunion by an unknown party. Then they must sneak into the world’s oldest casino, and steal a 1 billion euro chip. Each player has special skills and abilities to help disarm the security system.  The game is for 1 – 6 players, ages 12 and up, and plays in about an hour.

Minute Realms is a compact city-building game. Over several rounds, players build up kingdoms and expand them by spending money. Do they want to construct lavish buildings or build walls to deek back invaders? The game is for 2 – 5 players, ages 10 and up and plays in 15 – 30 minutes.

Origami is a family card game where players become origami masters, vying for the title of Best Origami Artist. Players collect “folds” in order to play Origami cards. The game is for 2 – 4 players, ages 8 and up and plays in 15 – 30 minutes.
