Black Mask Studios has partnered with USA Network and Universal Cable Productions to release a prequel comic for the ongoing Mr. Robot TV show.

Mr. Robot creator Sam Esmail and show writer Jeff McKibben will partner with Matteo Pizzolo (Calexit) to write the story with will serve as a backstory for events that happened on the TV series.  The series will be illustrated by Antonio Fuso (Survival Fetish).

The comics will chronicle the formation of fsociety. Release is planned for fall.

Mr. Robot follow computer programmer Elliot Alderson, who is recruited by Mr. Robot and his anarchist hacker team fsociety. Season 4 of the show is currently being worked on, and will likely premiere this winter.
