IDW Publishing is celebrating its 20th anniversary in style with a weekly event starting in January. IDW 20/20 is a series of one-shot specials featuring IDW’s most iconic properties, one release per week. Each tale is set 20 years into the future or 20 years into the past.

The event kicks off with Ghostbusters: IDW 20/20 from Erik Burnham (Red Sonja) and Dan Schoening (Ghostbusters: Crossing Over). The issue is set 20 years in the future and finds a new generation of Ghostbusters sent on all the jobs Ray, Winston, Peter, and Egon aren’t interested in doing themselves.

Jem and the Holograms: IDW 20/20 from Sina Grace (Iceman) and Siobhan Keenan (Clueless: Senior Year) takes Jerrica, Synergy, and the rest of the band into the future for an outrageous rockin’ reunion.

Ted Anderson and Toni Kuusisto (My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic) take Ponyville’s most courageous and magical ponies on an adventure set 20 years in the past in My Little Pony: IDW 20/20.

Peter David and J.K. Woodward (Fallen Angel) will follow Jean-Luc Picard’s exploits as the captain of the U.S.S. Stargazer in Star Trek: IDW 20/20, set 20 years before Picard becomes captain of the beloved U.S.S. Enterprise-D.

Finally, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: IDW 20/20 will introduce readers to the heroes on the half shell 20 years hence as the Utrom Civil War Rages across Earth in a story from Paul Allor and Dave Wachter (TMNT).

A new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series, Shredder Goes to Hell, is also due in early 2019 (see “Shredder Goes to Hell”).
