Valiant is giving Unity villain War-Monger a solo limited series. The first issue of The Forgotten Queen, a four-part series from Tini Howard (Assassinistas) and Amilcar Pinna (Generation X), will be in stores on February 27. It features covers by Kano, Viktor Kalvachev, and Veronic Fish, as well as a blank sketch cover.

The series centers on War-Monger's ride with the Mongol Empire as they conquered everything from Siberia to Carpathia. The immortal character, which was created by Matt Kindt and Pere Perez, debuted in may 2015 in Unity #18 and has an unquenchable thirst for war and bloodshed. War-Monger has been presumed dead since being pinned to the bottom of the ocean by Anchor, but The Forgotten Queen starts on a modern research vessel.
