Despite the cancellation of ACTOR Presents: Spider-Man and the Incredible Hulk #1 (see 'Spider-Man and the Hulk Team Up to Help A.C.T.O.R.') due to 'difficulties over timing and production,' Marvel has paid ACTOR, the non-profit organization dedicated to aiding older comic creators in financial or medical need, in full for the book. This generous step will allow the organization to realize the benefits of the book even though it's not being produced. Marvel EIC and ACTOR board member Joe Quesada said of the organization, 'This is a good cause that benefits a lot of our childhood heroes and inspirations, and I personally remain committed to the long-term success of the organization. I will continue to look for opportunities to support ACTOR.'
