The Pokemon Company will release Pokemon: Sun & Moon – Team Up! a new series of releases for the Pokemon Trading Card Game on February 1.
The Tag Team Pokemon-GX have arrived, new cards featuring paired-up and powered-up Pokemon. Battle teams include Pikachu & Zekrom-GX, Lycanroc-GX, Hoopa-GX, Cobalion-GX, among others. The Pokemon Sun & Moon: Team Up Booster includes over 180 cards, including 6 new Tag Team Pokemon-GX, 6 other Pokemon-GX, 4 Prism Star cards, and more than 25 Trainer cards.
The Pokemon Sun & Moon: Team Up Theme Decks include 60 card decks.
The Pokemon Sun & Moon: Lets Play Theme Decks include decks with more Pokemon and fewer Trainers with simpler cards for an introductory experience aimed at younger players. Each deck includes 60 Pokemon cards, a metallic coin, 2-player playmat and rulesheet, a deck box, damage counters, and a code card for the online game.
The Pokemon TCG: Sun & Moon—Team Up Elite Trainer Box includes 8 Pokémon TCG: Sun & Moon -Team Up booster packs, 65 card sleeves featuring Pikachu and Zekrom, 45 Pokemon TCG Energy cards, a player’s guide, 6 damage-counter dice, 1 competition-legal coin-flip die, 2 acrylic condition markers and 1 acrylic TAG TEAM GX marker, a collector’s box with 4 dividers, and a code card for the online TCG.
The Pokemon: SM - Team Up Mini Binder stores up to 60 cards in an organized portfolio. Each binder comes with a booster pack from the Pokemon: SM – Team Up expansion.
Pokemon will be adding the Towering Splash GX Box and three Pokemon Special Collections in January (see “Celebrate the Power of the Splash Attack and the Evolutions of Eevee”).
