Amazon offers up a good look at The Boys in a violent new teaser for the show based on Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson’s comic series.

Whereas the first teaser functioned as a commercial for the corrupt superhero team The Seven and offered only a brief look at the real heroes dedicated to taking them down (see “'The Boys' Drop Teaser Trailer”), this mostly dialogue-free trailer offers a good look at The Boys, including Karl Urban as team leader Billy Butcher, Jack Quaid as reluctant conscript Hughie Campbell, Laz Alonso as Mothers Milk, Karen Kukuhara as Female, and Tomer Capon as the Frenchie. We also get a glimpse at some heroics from The Seven.

The Boys is set to debut this summer and also stars Erin Moriarty (Starlight), Antony Starr (The Homelander), Dominique McElligott (Queen Maeve), Chace Crawford (The Deep), Jesse T. Usher (A-Train), and Nathan Mitchell (Black Noir), and Elisabeth Shue (Madelyn Stillwell).

The Boys publisher Dynamite will begin releasing omnibus editions of the comic series starting in March (see “Dynamite Plans Omnibus Editions for 'The Boys'”).
