Abrams has announced it will publish the comics anthology Drawing Power: Women’s Stories of Sexual Violence, Harassment, and Survival in September 2019.

Underground comics pioneer Diane Noomin, who contributed to Wimmin’s Comix and created the character DiDi Glitz, will edit the new anthology, which will include stories by 63 creators, including Aline Kominsky-Crumb (Drawn Together), Emil Ferris (My Favorite Thing Is Monsters), MariNaomi (Turning Japanese), Miss Lasko-Gross (Henni), and Carol Tyler (You’ll Never Know). Each of the creators will contribute her own personal stories of sexual harassment, assault, and rape culture. Bestselling author Roxane Gay (Hunger, Difficult Women), will contribute an introduction.

The full-color, 272-page hardcover book will be available on September 17, 2019, with an MSRP of $29.99.
