At last year's GAMA trade show in Las Vegas, WizKids gave retailers a mammoth Dropship from its Mechwarrior CMG, which helped boost attendance dramatically (see 'GAMA Trade Show Up 50-100%').  This year WizKids will be providing a massive, 16.5' tall figure of Galactus, which is certain to dominate any Marvel Heroclix encounter. WizKids' Advertising and Promotions Coordinator Jason Mical told ICv2, 'Players can use the Galactus figure in two ways--as a regular figure scaleable to 600, 1200, or1800 points depending on the number of dials used, or you can play out a scenario in which one or more players team up to attack Galactus and drive him off.  You can't actually kill Galactus, just drive him off for a while.'

Quantities of the massive figure are limited and will only be available to retailers who are 'Approved WizKids Venues' and who RSVP for the WizKids retailer breakfast meeting at GAMA.  Retailers who want their store to become an 'Approved WizKids Venue' should visit the WizKids Website and sign up to host WizKids gaming events.  Gift premiums such as the giant Galactus figure can help retailers defray the cost of their trip to the GAMA show, which offers a wealth of seminars and discussions on all aspects of buying, selling, and marketing games at your pop culture store (see 'Multiple Offerings for Retailers at the GAMA Trade Show').
