Square Enix will release Tomb Raider Legends: The Board Game, a tabletop adaptation of the popular video game franchise, this summer.

In the game, players play legendary archeologist Lara Croft searching for a hidden Artifact. There are many perils to face, but Lara’s greatest foe is… herself. Players must prove they are the real Lara by exploring ruins, defeating threats, and growing their arsenal and skills to beat all the others.

Players are tasked with completing a simple goal and acquiring the Artifact. This is thwarted, of course, by other players and creatures blocking the way with delays, misdirection, and health hazards. With more than a dozen areas to uncover and explore, the game will always play out differently.

The box includes 4 Lara miniatures, 1 main board, 4 player boards, 28 action cards, 41 raid cards, 1 starting player marker, 8 threat/experience markers, 4 injury markers, and an instruction manual. The game is for 3 – 4 players, ages 13 and up, and plays in 40 minutes. MSRP is $59.99.
